My story began with dance, but my passion for creativity has taken me far beyond the stage.

Over the years I've grown into a Model, Actor, and Content Creator, combining all these experiences to tell stories that inspire and resonate. Creativity is my language. Whether through movement, performance, or film, I create stories that connect, inspire, and leave a lasting impression.

FOUNDER

Delano Hanemaaijer

My name is Delano Hanemaaijer, and I am 30 years old. My creative journey began with dance, a passion that led me to study at Lucia Marthas Institute for Performing Arts, where I graduated in 2016. I continued my artistic education at the Academy of Theatre and Dance - Urban Contemporary JMD in Amsterdam, graduating in 2020. Alongside my studies, I discovered the worlds of dancing, modeling, presenting and acting, which I have been pursuing since the age of 20.

My Work

In 2020, my path expanded as I began working as a Content Creator for various companies. What started as a creative experiment quickly grew into a professional passion: Telling stories through film, visuals, and digital content.

I grew up in Zaanstad, later moved to Rotterdam, and now I live in Apeldoorn. Along the way, I gained valuable experience in hospitality, events, and brand activations - working as a host, promoter, team leader, and even as a cocktail shaker at festivals. These experiences shaped my ability to connect with people, represent brands authentically, and create memorable experiences.

CREATIVITY

Dance has always been at the heart of my creativity. While I no longer perform full-time, I continue to Dance choreographies for fashion shows in The Netherlands and Germany, where I merge movement, style, and performance into one.


In 2025, I decided to fully focus on developing myself as a filmmaker and Content Creator, founding THE CREATOR | by Delano Hanemaaijer. Through this company, I aim to help brands and businesses create content that not only fits their identity but also inspires and connects with their audience.


Over the past decade, I have built a strong and diverse portfolio, working with major brands, appearing in national campaigns and commercials, and collaborating on countless photo and video productions. Now, with years of experience both in front of and behind the camera, I am committed to bringing creativity, authenticity, and impact to every project I create.
